Brent Linn’s Resignation Notice HB A&P Society
HB A&P Society members, HB A&P Society Stakeholders, and General Public
As President of the Hawkes Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society (HB A&P Society), I am announcing the resignation of Mr Brent Linn as the General Manager of the HB A&P Society on the 22nd of November.
Brent has been a valued and loyal employee of the HB A&P Society since 2010.
Over the past seven years, Brent in his role as General Manager has overseen significant growth in the range and diversity of the portfolio of Events at the HB A&P Society.
Brent is very passionate about the HB Showgrounds Tomoana, having in consultation with its stakeholders, developed a Masterplan for the immediate and long-term upgrade of facilities at the HB Showgrounds. Brent has made a significant contribution in this area, in co-ordinating the project and successfully managing the delivery of the early stages, the result of which has been well received by the community.
2017 saw a change in Brent’s role; as well as the General Manager position Brent took on the role as the Event Manager for the Royal NZ A&P Show, hosted by HB A&P Society at HB Showgrounds Tomoana. This year’s Royal Show (our Flagship event at HB A&P Society) was a fantastic success, thanks greatly to Brent and our small but committed team of staff.
On behalf of the HB A&P Society, I would like to thank Brent for his service and commitment over his seven years with the HB A&P Society.
Brent will be leaving us in the New Year to pursue new interests.
