Key Appointment Announced
I am very pleased to announce that the The Hawke’s Bay A & P Society has appointed Sally Jackson to the position of General Manager. Sally takes up the position on the 12th March 2018.
Mrs Jackson was most recently the Visitor Experiences Manager for the Napier City Council and previous to that was the General Manager for the Art Deco Trust for over six years. Sally’s record of working with membership-based organisations, significant events management and marketing experience coupled with sponsor and stakeholder engagement.
Sally Jackson reported “I am extremely excited about working with the A & P Society. It is an outstanding organisation and has done an incredible amount of good work for the primary sector and for the Hawke’s Bay region. She noted, “I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to bring my skills to the Society and to put my enthusiasm, energy and commitment to continuing that work into the future.”
Sally has lived in New Zealand for 20 years and is married with two children. Whilst she was the General Manager of the Art Deco Trust, she led the heritage organisation through a period of sustained growth and most recently has been responsible for ensuring the integrated development and implementation of tourism and cultural strategies, programmes and projects across all of the Council’s visitor experience facilities.
We look forward to Sally joining the team in early March.
